"I had never had my make up professionally done before, and as someone who doesn't wear much make up, I felt quite apprehensive about a make-up artist doing it for me. I had no reason to worry. Ian listened to my concerns and reassured me that it was his job to accentuate my features - but I would very much still look like me. He took care with every brush stroke and applied individual eyelashes so I would achieve the natural look I desired. Since he introduced me to the art of contouring - I have never looked back. Throughout the process, he was kind and professional, making each member of the team feel relaxed and calm. His make-up artistry was of an excellent standard, with his original flair and eye for detail. Ian worked expertly to our brief of making the actors look like comic book characters. He is as friendly and approachable as he is efficient, creating at least 8 different looks for each character in a short amount of time. He clearly cares passionately for his craft and shared tips and tricks with each cast member.
